Mozilla has released Firefox 3.5.1 version that fixes a critical vulnerability that affected the TraceMonkey javascript engine.
This version is also said to solve the extremely slow startup many had faced in Firefox 3.5 Windows version. [Related link: The Firefox 3.5 fiasco]
If you have Firefox 3.5 already installed, Firefox would be updating itself in the next 24 hours. You can also force start an update by going to Help -> Check for Updates.
Readers who had disabled the TraceMonkey engine as a temporary work around should remember to change the value of "javascript.options.jit.content" back to True.
